In Group B, Club Brugge stunned Atletico Madrid with a 2-0 win in Belgium. Porto also won, beating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0, so the two teams are level on points at the top of the table.

A Detailed Look at the Top Matches

Napoli vs. Ajax

Napoli were in impressive form as they beat Ajax 4-2 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. The Italian side took the lead through Piotr Zielinski in the 18th minute, and they doubled their advantage through Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa just before half-time.

Ajax came out fighting in the second half and pulled a goal back through Mohammed Kudus in the 49th minute. However, Napoli restored their two-goal lead through Giovanni Simeone in the 63rd minute.

Ajax gave themselves a lifeline with a goal from Davy Klaassen in the 83rd minute, but Napoli held on to claim all three points.

Liverpool vs. Rangers

Liverpool were also in impressive form as they beat Rangers 2-0 at Anfield. The Reds took the lead through Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 7th minute, and they doubled their advantage through Mohamed Salah in the 53rd minute.

Rangers never really looked like getting back into the game, and Liverpool were comfortable winners in the end.

Club Brugge vs. Atletico Madrid

Club Brugge caused one of the biggest upsets of the night by beating Atletico Madrid 2-0 in Belgium. The Belgian side took the lead through Kamal Sowah in the 36th minute, and they doubled their advantage through Ferran Jutgla in the 62nd minute.

Atletico Madrid never really looked like getting back into the game, and Club Brugge were comfortable winners in the end.

The Current Standings

After three matches, Napoli and Liverpool are level on points at the top of Group A. Club Brugge and Porto are level on points at the top of Group B. Atletico Madrid, Ajax, Rangers, and Bayer Leverkusen are all in danger of missing out on the knockout stages.

The Champions League group stage continues next week with Matchday 4. Napoli will host Rangers, Liverpool will host Ajax, Club Brugge will host Porto, and Atletico Madrid will host Bayer Leverkusen.
