South Padre Island, Texas - At least one shark attacked three people within South Padre Island city limits on Thursday, July 4th, disrupting Fourth of July celebrations. The attacks occurred between late Thursday morning and 12:30 pm.
Two victims were transported to the hospital, one with severe leg injuries. The third victim's injuries were less severe.
The first attack was reported at 11:00 am, and South Padre Island Fire and Police Departments provided aid to the victims.
